Challenge
Komputronik, already successfully organizing an annual charity event for several years, faced the challenge of adapting it to the changing reality caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Traditional, stationary forms of bidding during the company’s Christmas Eve were no longer possible, so it became necessary to find an effective online tool for the event. From a business perspective, an effective tool was needed that would allow a smooth auction process for items donated to a needy company employee.
Solution
The solution turned out to be the SilentClicks.com auction platform, which enabled the company to conduct a charity action in an online form. Thanks to this tool, employees were able to put various services and items up for auction, as well as purchase contributions to support the charity action. The action lasted about two weeks and took place in the pre-Christmas period, which further emphasizes the spirit of cooperation and joint assistance. Thanks to SilentClicks.com, Komputronik employees gained an internal channel for charity sales.
Business effect
Thanks to the jointly conducted project, a significant amount of money was raised to support a Komputronik employee. Such charity actions provide employees with an opportunity to engage in meaningful and positive activities beyond their normal job duties.
